Where can a girl gain independence and confidence while adventuring in some of the most beautiful places around? Girl Scout sleepaway camp! Girls can spend several nights at our amazing sleepaway camp, Camp Skyland Ranch. There’s no limit to the amount of adventure and fun your girl can have. From archery to crafts, horseback riding to performance, our sleepaway camps offer amazing experiences and lots of themed excitement. Girls have the time of their lives. Summer & Weekend Camps
GSSGC has so many new and exciting adventures waiting for you every season. Start with summer and think to our other seasons as well. Our camps are open to all girls from grades K-12. Whether it be a day program with your family, a weekend away with your troop, or a summer-themed session with friends, there’s something for every girl.
Starting in 2nd grade, girls can even experience sleepaway camp by themselves or with a buddy. Not quite ready for a full week of camp excitement? Starry Nights and Skills Adventure
Turn your eyes to skies every night at camp and learn the stories of the stars, nocturnal animals, and how we as humans have fit ourselves into nature’s night life. During the day, learn basic outdoor survival skills like lashing, knife safety, and outdoor cooking, while still enjoying all of what makes camp CAMP!

Volunteer at Camp!
Adult volunteers are the cornerstone of the Girl Scouts movement. Volunteers bring a depth and wealth of knowledge and experience. Consider giving your time to the girls by becoming a camp volunteer. Some options include:
- 3-5 day Unit Counselor
- 3-5 day Program/Riding Staff
- 3-5 day or weekend Health Center Staff (certifications required)
No previous experience is required for most of our volunteer opportunities. All volunteers must be background screened and trained prior to starting. Camp Volunteers can apply for non-income based financial assistance for their girls.

Work at Camp!
Get paid to play! Spend the summer making memories and being a role model for our campers! Camp staff learn valuable skills that can be applied to a wide range of careers, such as communication, problem solving, leadership, risk management, and more! Learn these skills during our two weeks of camp training and hone them over the 7 weeks and 4 weekends of summer camp programs.
Positions start at $115/day, 45-49 days for the season. Typical schedules are Monday-Friday with weekend opportunities
Kitchen staff positions start at $19/hour, up to 40 hours a week, with the potential for overtime.
All positions will begin by June 4th and conclude August 2nd with flexible start and end dates available.
