Environmental Education
Bring your students to the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains for a single day or multi-day overnight outdoor adventure. With over 100 years as a leader in outdoor experiences and leadership development, the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio offers a variety of programs focused on connecting all students to the outdoors. Select your preferred program topics to create a customized class trip to maximize your time and create the best possible experience.
All of our programs include:
- An emphasis on 21st century skills
- Hands-on, interactive experiences
- Professional staff and educators
- Age-appropriate activities for 3-8 grade students*
- Optional extended learning
Skyland Ranch is a beautiful camp located in Banning on Highway 243, approximately 20 minutes from the 10 freeway. The programs combine education, outdoor immersion, and career exploration. Through fun and innovative methods students engage in STEM curriculum while learning to be stewards of the environment. The students are learning in the great outdoors and for many it is their first time experiencing the mountains and wilderness. Full and partial grant funding is available for qualifying programs and schools.
