Calling all Girl Scouts and volunteers. Join us for our back to troop event. Girls will learn about the history of Girl Scouts, traditions of Girl Scouts (swaps, songs, girl-led philosophy) and play some games with Girl Scout Trivia. Parents will learn about the history of Girl Scouts and traditions of Girl Scouts (girl-led philosophy) and also network and find mentors. We will discuss the logistics of having a troop (when, where, what to do) and how to get funds for your troop (product sales and your troop financial report). We will also share ideas for trips and discuss Adult Recognitions.
This is not a drop off event, parents and girls are encouraged to attend the event together. Troop leader and girl ratios must be followed by each troop. A light snack will be served during the event.
Patch will be given to each registered person who attends. Patch will be available after the event at our October Volunteer Meeting or in your troop folder in the Program Room.
Pricing: $5 per participant
