This event will have activities to earn the LGBTQ+ Pride Month Celebration "I'm a Girl Scout!" Fun Patch. The "I'm a Girl Scout!" Patch sets will not be included at this event but can be purchased in the scout store. Please see store hours for availability.
“June is LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) Pride Month, an annual celebration of the achievements, impact, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community in the United States. In June we also commemorate the Stonewall uprising which marks the beginning of a movement to outlaw discriminatory laws and practices against LGBTQ+ Americans. As Girl Scouts we deeply value diversity and inclusion. A Girl Scout is a friend and ally to all families.”
From 2pm to 4pm
A local Drag Queen will be hosting bingo games with the chance of winning prizes.
The fee for each child is $20.00 - which includes bingo play, an event specific patch, swag, snacks and all the fun you can have!!!!
