Horse camps include:  4-6 hours at horses each day.  All activities are weather permitting.  Girls will still be able to participate in traditional camp program like archery, crafts, games, and more.

Adult Volunteer Opportunity:  Limited space for Adult Volunteers must be background screened and additional training is required prior to the camp program.  Adult volunteers are free & can request funds from the volunteer fund to cover a portion of their daughter’s camp fees.  Email to apply.

Mad Scientist; Tricky Scientist

  • Age:  Entering 2nd - 12th grade
  • Cost:  $600

Meet the Skyland Ranch team as we become Mad Scientists ready to trick our friends and family with science fun.  Skyland will become a place where science and magic and experiments meet.  We will spend the week learning about science, conducting experiments, and learning impossible tricks that use science to fool your family.  Spend a day finding out where science has been hiding in your home through density, static electricity, and more. Be a kitchen chemist and play with home science at Mad Science.  Make something change colors or explode every day.

Horse Camp

  • Age:  Entering 4th - 12th grade
  • Cost:  $750
  • To register for advanced horse camp girls need to have at least 2 years of Girl Scout horse camp or take riding lessons at home.

Enjoy time horsin’ around with the horses, other campers, and our riding staff becoming more confident in your ability while developing lasting friendships and learning the fundamentals of riding and horse care.  Learn about saddling, grooming, feeding, basic horse care and riding skills.  Riding ability determines participation in certain activities.  The Riding Staff is comprised of horse lovers from all over the world eager to share their knowledge with campers. Emphasis in all programs is on Western Style instruction, ring work and horse care.  Some of the fun activities include gymkhana, an overnight experience, teaching others, washing/bathing horses, and of course riding and grooming.  All activities are weather permitting.  Campers are placed in groups with their buddy according to their shared horse experience.

    • If you are using credit card please use the registration site.
  • This is for in-person overnight camp.  We are still uncertain on available space; if we discover we can allow more campers we will add more spots.
  • All camp is contingent upon current health department criteria; we are in contact with the health department to collaborate on camp operation this summer.  As with the rest of California business we expect to be able to continue operating; however, the safety of our children is our priority.  If we are unable to offer camp due to a resurgence of the virus we will inform families ASAP.  Please check our website for our current policies and procedures related to cancelations and refunds.
  • The balance is due 4 weeks prior to the camp program.
  • If your plans change you can log-in to make changes to your campers program including canceling (pending availability).
  • There is a wait list for each program intentionally as we are uncertain on safety guidelines by this summer.  8 girls per closed cabin and 12 per open air space is our best guess on availability; if we are able to add more girls we will offer spots to the girls on the waitlist first.
  • Please note if overnight in person camp is not for your family at this time we will have a variety of other outdoor and virtual opportunities this summer.
  • Negative vaccination or negative PCR test is not required at this time (as of Dec 2021); however, this may be required by the California Health Department closer to camp.
