A Trip to the Birthplace of Girl Scouts: Savannah, Georgia
Join GSSGC on a trip to the Birthplace of Girl Scouts, Savannah Georgia. This trip is a combination of girl led and council driven. We will have two optional planning meetings Dec 12th & Jan 8th. Actual flight days/times will be based on participant input at those meetings on how they want to spend their funds (more expensive flight or more money for activities).
Experience southern charm and exquisite architecture of Savannah, one of the oldest cities in America. Walk in Juliette's footsteps as we explore the city's rich history discovring hidden gardens and waterfront experiences. Our group may split into those with an adventerous ghost minded tour or shopping focused experience. All will be decided at the December 12th meeting.
Regardless of the experience we will visit Juliette's girlhood home, the first National Headquarters, and eat bennets on the waterfront and more.
I recommend reading Lady from Savannah: The Life of Juliette Low to get the most of this experience.
