SR: Counselor-in-Training 2 (CIT2)
CCounselor-In-Training II (CIT 2)
Dates: July 6-24 Break July 17-19
Age: Entering Grade 11-12
Continue to explore what the challenging and rewarding job of a camp counselor is all about. Expand on the lessons that you learned as a CIT 1 and expand on them. Time will be spent developing interpersonal skills, decision making, and going more in depth into camp operations. You will gain actual hands-on experience at camp. Upon completion of CIT2, you will participate in a graduation ceremony. The confidence and skills you take away from this experience will benefit you on your college and career path. CIT 1 is a prerequisite to this session. CIT II’s will sleep in tents or hammocks. Includes July 17-19 break, (girls leave on the 17th; and return on the 20th).
Includes: All Program materials & activities, patch, meals & snacks, transportation, lodging, & trained camp counselors deliver the leadership program.
