AT-1: Outdoor Cooking (NV)
**Part of Sisters for the Summer Program - Registration Not Open Until Jan 15th**
Session Name: Session AT-1: Outdoor Cooking (NV)
Age Level: Entering Grades 2-12
Cost: $550 per participant
Includes: All Program materials & activities, patch, meals & snacks, transportation, lodging, & trained camp counselors as chaperones.
Join our Sister Council and Be a Cook! With cooking sprinkled throughout the week girls get to have all the fun of camp and make yummy things to eat while they learn the basics of cooking – heat, measuring, ingredients, safety, prep and method. Girls will create a cookbook, make jam, tortillas, and use a number of different cooking methods. They will become eggsperts in egg making as they try their hand at cooking eggs on everything including a stick if they are brave enough for the challenge.
Volunteer Opportunity: Limited space for Adult Volunteers must be background screened and additional training is required prior to the weekend. Adult volunteers are free & can request funds from the volunteer fund to cover a portion of their daughter’s camp fees. Visit gssgc.org/outdoors for the current process to apply.
Due to the ongoing road work on the mountain, all of the session at Azalea Trails have been moved to Skyland Ranch.
