GenCyber 2018 is here! Join GSSGC at the California State University, San Bernardino campus for a week of Cyber Security Day Camp. Industry professionals from Google, Facebook, Bank of America, Department of Homeland Security, Mitre, Cisco and more will be on site to lead activities and provide opportunities for girls. Girls will learn to about drones, coding, internet safety, online etiquette, cyber forensics, career pathways, and so much more through interactive experiences with the leading industry professionals. High School participants will also participate in mentor lunches with industry professionals, campus tours, and will receive information on applying to CSUSB and scholarship opportunities. A parent night for High School participant families will be part of the day camp on June 21 from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
GenCyber is primarily funded by grant funds from the National Science Foundation. These grant funds allow this $2000 value program to be offered free of charge to all participants.
***Check In Day is June 12- You must check in, pick up participant shirts, get your group assignment and swag on June 12 at the Redlands Program Center.***
Lunches, snacks, shirt, patch, and many giveaways from participating companies are included in this Day Camp. Limited transportation will be available. We will accept girls entering 6th-8th grades for Fall 2018 for the middle school programs. We will accept girls entering 9th-12th grades by Fall 2018 for the High School portion.
