Daisy Girl Scouts Holding Hands

Recruitment Events

At Girl Scouts we combine life skills, STEM, the outdoors, and entrepreneurship with civic engagement to deliver crucial, life-changing, girl-led programming.

Our proven approach gives girls the opportunities to unleash their inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™, prepare for a lifetime of leadership, and change the world. Whoa!

So what will you do? Cookies, badges, campfires, and friendship bracelets? You bet! But we’re so much more than that. At Girl Scouts, you’ll always get to think big, try new things, and be a role model in your community.

Here, the possibilities are absolutely endless. Because once your inner leader takes center stage, anything—and we mean anything—is possible.

Join a Virtual Troop

Girl Scouts is a safe, no-limits place designed specifically for girls, where they’re inspired to seek out new challenges, build important skills, and take the lead.

Virtual troops are Girl Scout staff lead and open to girls Kindergarten to fifth grade. Virtual troops offer monthly Girl Scout programming specifically designed for girls not yet placed in a traditional troop.

Street Team Pic

Be a Street Team Member

For over 100 years, Girl Scouts has given girls the tools to lead, break barriers, and create positive change. These are the girls and young women who dream big and do bigger! Thanks to our volunteers’ incredible support, we were able to reach three times more schools, families, and girls than ever before! We know there are still families who we aren’t reaching.  We need your help to make sure every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout has the opportunity to benefit from our life-changing program. Be part of the recruitment community and join the Street Team. Street Team Members act as brand advocates in their communities and implement Council-wide recruitments activities. The Street Team and Council recruitment staff work in tandem to support the recruitment of girl and adult members.

Year-round opportunities:
  • Fall- attend Back to School events and invite leads to recruitment events that will support troop formation
